Worship
Services
Worship stands at the center of the life of our congregation just as God stands at the center of our lives. Central in our worship service is participation in communion, the Lord’s Supper. We hope you will find worship at Wabash Christian Church a source of spiritual enrichment, challenge and fellowship.
Our Sunday morning service begins at 9:30 a.m. Immediately following the worship service is fellowship until 11:00 a.m.
Two occasions for special services of worship are the service of baptism and service of dedication of children, parents and congregation. Throughout the year services of worship are conducted for special occasions.
During the Advent/Christmas season we have a Christmas Eve candlelight service. Other special services include Ash Wednesday , Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter.
Music
We offer a variety of styles of music in our music program for all ages of membership in our worship.
Our choir meets every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. for rehearsals.
Our handbell choir performs several times a year during worship services and also performs programs within the community.
Throughout the year, and especially in the summer months, we have many people from our church and community share their gifts of music with us during the worship service.
Weather Closing Policy
In the event of severe weather, the Wabash Christian Church will cancel services and activities in those situations in which the county EMA has declared a “red” alert which is also designated a “warning.”
