Worship

Join Us On Sunday

Due to Covid 19 we are experiencing limitations in worship and services.

Worship stands at the center of our congregation just as God stands at the center of our lives. Our service occurs every Sunday at 9:30am in our beautiful, historic sanctuary that has been part of the Wabash community for over 150 years. Following service you are invited to share in fellowship with coffee and doughnuts. We welcome you to our traditional worship service as you are – you will find all kinds of caring people, some wearing suits and dresses and others in t-shirts and shorts. Our nursery is open every Sunday for those in need of a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers. Our church also offers Worship and Wonder during service for elementary school children. Worship and Wonder is an exciting way for children to experience God while learning about God. This approach uses a sensorimotor style of storytelling as a primary means for encountering God, so that God is experienced, not just talked about.

Central to our worship and to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is Communion where ALL are invited by God to join at the table and take communion. All who visit are invited to fully participate in our service regardless of background or membership.

We host special worship services throughout the year including a candlelight service on Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday and encourage you to join us for these special moments of worship

Committed to spreading the Good News of the love of Christ through service to ALL
